Current whereabouts

Auckland. The City of Sails. I arrived here yesterday (July 26th) from the Bay of Islands and am flying out tonight to head home. That's correct, its pretty much all over. I've been lucky to be able to have 15 months away and enjoy it as much as I have so I guess I can't complain! It'll be a bit of a culture shock going home, mind you! Still, all good things come to an end I guess.

I've had just under 4 weeks in New Zealand and I've done a whistle stop tour of both Islands on the Magic Bus. It was a great laugh and we got to see loads of cool things. And then there were the adrenalin rushes from all the activities like sky diving etc. Still not getting me near a bungy jump, mind you! I wish I could have had longer to stay in some of the places along the way rather than rushing around like a mad thing, but then there's always next time!

If anyone's considering doing a trip like this - don't think about it for any longer! Get out there and do it!
