The Story So Far...Want to know where I've been and what I did there? This is the page...May 2000
I left Edinburgh on Monday 1st May 2000, Monday seemed to be as good a day as any to start the trip. The first stop was London Heathrow, but only to change planes for the flight to Bangkok.The flight was an overnight one and I even managed to sleep for a few hours. Just as well, really, as I couldn't see the movies because some tall bloke was sitting in front of me. No seat-back TVs on this flight! We arrived in Bangkok 12 hours later and pretty much on time but had to pick our way through a thunderstorm before we could land. Left:My route through Asia (well, close enough...) Rather than waffle on about the whole of my month in Asia here, I've split it up into several sections, each one dealing with a particular place.
